This incinerator was listed on the RAFTA Hazardous Substances Site Priority List (SPL) in 2005. It was removed from the list in 2009 after improperly stored hazardous substances were removed.

In 2001 Wally El-Beck agreed to operate the incinerator for 10 years. The relationship soured quickly however, and the City began operating the incinerator again in March (2003?)
