I would like to know why the hell lawyers are deciding the life and death  of 
the citizens of Nevada during the debate on the safety of the burial of  
Nuclear Waste. The arguments and issues are technical, not legal. The judges  have 
made enough problems screwing up the law, I can't image what they will do  to 
the Scientific arena. Who is better qualified to decide whether or not water  
will seep into the storage facility, a judge, a lawyer or a scientist? The 
best  Scientific minds we have in this Country cannot decide now, or perhaps 
ever,  whether some unknown reaction will occur within the mountain and blow the  
entire mountain to smithereens, water might be a good starting point.
 
The best work I have seen on the dangers of all aspects of the  Nuclear 
Industry has been done by 
Dr. Richard Webb (_richard.webb at t-online.de_ 
(mailto:richard.webb at t-online.de) ). He  explains, in fantastic and glowing detail, why nuclear power, in all 
of  it's forms, cannot be tolerated on our earth. His work on the Nuclear 
Industry  is Einsteinian in value and has been exceeded by no  one. Someone had 
better get in touch with him before  he leaves the States and goes back to

734-723-7434.)  for the next day or two, and than he is gone. 
 
Depending on the DOE/NRC to tell the truth about Nevada, or Mountains, or  
anything else Nuclear is like asking the Fox what happened to the chickens -  
except the Fox is smarter than the entire DOE/NRC staffs combined.
 
The people of Harrisburg, PA had better thank God that Dr. Webb was  
available and contacted during TMI. He was the only person standing in the way  of the 
DOE/NRC/Utility geniuses from turning off the inlet water pumps. Had the  
pumps been turned off Harrisburg would have been toast.
 
Dr. Webb was a guest at my house for three weeks this past July and I read  
and was astounded by his genius. The work was nearly spiritual in nature.
 
If Nevada does not get in touch with Dr. Webb now, the entire nation will  be 
the loser forever.
