An evening with "Chernobyl 20" documentary and Kitka
concert to benefit Ecogardening in Eurasia and
Oncological Center in Lesnoj, Belarus

EVENT SCHEDULE:
7 PM - Film: "Chernobyl 20" a documentary by Yelena
Zmushko, who will be present to discuss the film
8 PM - Performance by Kitka Women's Vocal Ensemble
9 PM - Russian delicacies, socializing with guest
artists and Biointensive for Russia project
coordinators


The documentary film "Chernobyl 20" will be introduced
by the Director, Yelena Zmushko. "Chernobyl 20" shows
the lies and how lies shatter against the real-world
damage still being experienced twenty years after the
accident. It shows real people living in the
contaminated areas of Belarus-children in the region's
cancer center and families struggling to keep hopeful.

Kitka Women's Vocal Ensemble (See www.kitka.org) will
perform to benefit the work of Biointensive for
Russia's partners who teach and experiment with the
GROW BIOINTENSIVE Sustainable Mini-Farming method in
Eurasia. Children with radiation-induced cancer at the
Oncological Center of Belarus will also benefit.
