Added to our web site and blog is a 6-minute video sketch of a visit
to the NL Industries site with Community Concerned About NL
Industries organizer Tom Ellis and former resident Tony Ciarfello,
who was found to be contaminated by depleted uranium.

The site visit by the three of us followed a press conference on
research findings that show NL Industries depleted uranium
contamination persists to this day in the Colonie and Albany, NY, area.

As mentioned, the DU research effort was organized by the CCNL and
conducted by Randall Parrish of the NERC Isotope Geosciences
Laboratory in the UK and others, who detected depleted uranium, and
in one case enriched uranium, in former workers and those who lived
and worked nearby the Colonie NL Industries plant.

NL Industries produced depleted uranium munitions cores decades ago.
