[NukeNet] Toshiba Builds 100x Smaller Micro Nuclear Reactor

Thanks Janet -- we are in it thick these days! I am sad that many people
don't know or have forgotten that the "first generation" (may it be the
ONLY) of reactors was built under Democratic congresses -- I was pleased
to see the big fight in the Energy Bill about nuclear loan guarantees --
but in the end they still got a bunch ($18.5 billion!!! Plus $2 billion
for enrichment) -- so it is a big reminder that we have to build a
MOVEMENT that says NO! I am constantly being told by well intended
people that we need "pretty talk" -- to only talk about the positive
good things that are possible (wind and solar and efficiency) -- but I
don't see how we are ever going to get that good stuff when they keep
feeding the monster! Building new reactors will give the big engineering
firms a jobs program (I don't mean for workers) -- Bechtel, Kellog Brown
and Root -- all that gang -- is, as Jim Riccio has pointed out the group
that is going to GET the billions.
